Children's Epilepsy Nurse Specialist

Parents/Clients

Every day, I am reminded of the incredible resilience and strength that children, young people and families possess when faced with a diagnosis of a long term condition such as epilepsy.

I work at an expert level with a non-medical prescribing qualification and am passionate about educating and advocating for families facing these challenges.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my role is seeing the confidence grow in both the children and families as you learn to manage your condition effectively. Education is a powerful tool, and equipping you with the knowledge and resources you need can make a remarkable difference in your quality of life.

I believe that collaboration with other healthcare professionals is essential, as it ensures a holistic, multi-disciplinary approach to care. I strive to tailor interventions and treatments that meet each child's unique needs, ensuring their well-being and development.

The joy of seeing a child achieve milestones, no matter how big or small, keeps me motivated and reminds me of the profound impact compassionate informed care can have.

Ultimately, my goal is to empower families to face the future with confidence and hope, knowing you have a dedicated advocate in your corner.

Knowing that I play a part in the journey, offering not just clinical expertise but warmth and understanding, is what makes this work truly meaningful to me
